Frequently asked questions about training and services

Everything about the Director Training, the Administrator Training and support for live events and recordings.

  • What is the difference between the individual training and the group training?

    With the individual training, you enrol yourself for a scheduled training day at GetyourStudio in Utrecht, together with participants from other companies. With the group training, we schedule a full day at your premises, in your own studio, for up to 4 colleagues from your organisation.

  • What is the difference between the Basic and the Advanced training?

    The Basic training teaches you to operate the studio independently: cameras, sound, lighting and the StudioAssist software at an operational level. The Advanced training builds on this with in-depth audio settings, camera settings, subtitling and translation, and the latest StudioAssist features.

  • Do I need to complete the Basic training before I can take the Advanced training?

    Yes, the Advanced training assumes you can already work with the studio. We recommend completing the Basic training first, or letting us know in advance that you already have experience with the studio.

  • What will I learn in the Administrator Training?

    The Administrator Training is aimed at the technical administrator of the studio. You learn, among other things, how to set user rights, set up the stream to Teams correctly, get the audio right, adapt the buttons of the One-touch control panel to your workflow, and solve common technical issues yourself.

  • How many people can take part in an on-site training?

    For the group training, the Advanced training and the Administrator Training, the maximum group size is 4 people per session. For the individual training at GetyourStudio in Utrecht, you enrol as one person, together with participants from other companies.

  • How much does a training cost?

    The individual training at GetyourStudio in Utrecht costs from €385 per person. For the group training, the Advanced training and the Administrator Training, which take place at your premises, we prepare a tailored quotation.

  • Do I receive a certificate after the training?

    Yes, every GetyourStudio training, from the Basic training to the Administrator Training, ends with an official certificate.

  • Where does the training take place?

    The group training, the Advanced training and the Administrator Training take place on site, in your own studio. The individual training takes place at GetyourStudio in Utrecht.

  • What is the difference between support for live events and support for recordings?

    With support for live events, our consultant takes over the technical production during a broadcast that is streamed live, including starting the stream. With support for recordings, the consultant handles cameras, sound and lighting during a recording that doesn't need to be live, so you can work at a calmer pace and experiment with camera switching and more dynamic visuals.

  • Can I book support without completing a training first?

    Yes, support for live events and recordings is separate from the training courses. On request, our consultants take care of the technical side, even if nobody in the team has completed a training.

  • How long does a training or support session take?

    The training courses take a full day. Support for a live event or recording is booked per half day or full day, depending on the length of your broadcast or recording.
